A charming 2-bedroom cottage on quiet rural waterfront property, just a stone's throw away from ocean, moorage and boat launch.<br><br>Because of its central location it is a perfect home base for day trips.<br><br>Vacationing opportunities are numerous --from whale watching and watching a peaceful sunset, to hiking, biking, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, snow skiing, golfing, etc.<br><br>There are several professional golf courses within a 15 to 25 minutes drive.<br><br>Fanny Bay's Ships Point Bird Sanctuary is a birders paradise and in July and August be on the look out for pods of killer whales swimming by.<br><br>The Buckley Bay ferry, 7 minutes north, brings you to Denman and Hornby Island with several provincial parks and white sandy beaches. There are excellent opportunities for fossil hunting and wildlife viewing.<br><br>Mount Arrowsmith is only a 1 hour drive away. Excellent powder snow for downhill skiing and well groomed cross country trails lure the winter visitor.<br><br>Approximate driving times from Fanny Bay to<br>Victoria: 2 1/2 hours,<br>Tofino and Ucluelet on the West Coast where Pacific Rim Park is located: 2 1/2 hours,<br>Coombs and Cumberland: 20 minutes,<br>The Horne Lake Caves: 25 minutes.<br><br>"Fanny Bay" Cottage accommodates 6 people plus a baby comfortably and in combination with our 3-bedroom <a href="http://www.krazymoose.com/kmbc1086.asp/">Blue Heaven Cottage</a> it's a perfect place for family reunions! <br><br>Fully equipped, year-around vacation rental. The master bedroom has a double canopy bed; the second bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds. For a fifth and a sixth person there's a sofa bed in the livingroom. Baby crib on request.<br><br>3-Piece bathroom with tub/shower combination.<br><br>Fully furnished kitchen.<br><br>Outdoor furnishings include lawn and deck chairs plus table on a canopy covered deck and a gas barbecue.<br>The 2 adult bikes have to be shared with guests of our "Blue Heaven" Cottage.<br><br>Coin laundromat, convenience store, video rental and telephone booth on the property.
